GUEST BLOG: FERNCO LAUNCH STORM-T FOR STORMWATER PIPES
Fernco UK has launched its new universal, pushfit lateral connection saddle, Fernco Storm-T, bringing its innovative drainage technology to the surface water market. Fernco Storm-T is packed full of features and benefits to make life easier for civils contractors. It’s just the latest Fernco drainage couplings and connections design to transform the way pipes are repaired and replaced around the world.
Fernco Storm-T is a lateral pushfit range of saddles, designed to install into any DN300-DN600 plastic host pipe and laterally connect any DN150 branch pipe. There is no need for accessories or fitting tools as Fernco Storm-T can easily be connected by hand, making it one of the easiest to install and most universal products of its kind on the market.
Fernco Storm-T is a lateral pushfit range of saddles, designed to install into any DN300-DN600 plastic host pipe and laterally connect any DN150 branch pipe. Universal Fit
Unlike other saddles, the Fernco Storm-T connects any DN150 pipe regardless of pipe material and outside diameter. The saddle features internal connection technology, creating a watertight seal against the internal surface of the lateral pipe which are generally the same diameter.
The saddle also connects many more host pipes compared to its equivalents, connecting any plastic stormwater pipe from diameters DN300-DN600 with only three different units.

- ST150-300: Connects any DN150 lateral pipe (160 PVC, Twinwall, Clay etc) into any DN300 plastic stormwater pipe.
- ST150-375-450: Connects any DN150 lateral pipe (160 PVC, Twinwall, Clay etc) into any DN375 up to DN450 plastic stormwater pipe.
- ST150-500-600: Connects any DN150 lateral pipe (160 PVC, Twinwall, Clay etc) into any DN500 up to DN600 plastic stormwater pipe.
