MEET THE TEAM AT KEYLINE BODMIN
We caught up with the team at our branch located in Bodmin, Cornwall to discuss what it means to offer the best service and products possible for the local construction community.
Commenting on the opening of the store in early 2020, Richard Thorneloe, the branch manager said: “Expanding Keyline’s presence in the Cornish region will allow contractors and builders to gain access to a wider variety of products and our excellent customer service. Ran by our new team, the site can help any customer source the right products to complete their project. Whether it is for housing, highways or other major infrastructure work, we have a wealth of civils skills and expertise to hand to support any project, no matter how big or small.”
What has it been like since starting at the Bodmin branch?
“Since I’ve started working with the team, we’ve come together like a family to help our customers receive the best products to complete their job. Not only does everyone pitch in when making the group a cup of tea, but they are incredibly knowledgeable of the products.
“Whenever an employee joins the Bodmin Keyline branch, the team are always on hand to show them how to use the system. New recruits also get in-depth product training to ensure that every customer gets valuable advice and support.” - Beth Boobyer, Sales Manager.
What are you striving to achieve?
“Ensuring that all of our customers receive the best service possible is a must for the team. If a client returns to the store and asks to work with you then you know you’ve given them excellent treatment.
“Through our experience working within other areas of Keyline and the merchant industry, we know what contractors want and require. Through my own experience, I can help clients identify solutions to their issues and point them towards the best product to meet their needs. This trust in our expertise helps us build strong relationships with customers which in turn keeps them coming back to Keyline.” - Jamie Gill, Customer Sales Associate
“If a customer calls in need of an urgent delivery, we’re happy to work with them to ensure they receive the item potentially on the same or the next day. Knowing our customers trust us to have their order onsite when needed is just one way that we strive to be the best supplier possible.” - Ed Whitbread, Operations Manager
What are you looking forward to in 2023?
Richard Thorneloe said: “We have big plans for the future of the branch. The team are currently looking into increasing our truck fleet by adding another vehicle. This will allow us to expand our stock range, provide a quicker delivery service, and support projects throughout the entirety of Cornwall.
